August 4th is U.S. Coast Guard Day, which honors the branch of military that protects our waters. The day is largely an internal celebration for all of those currently or formerly in the Coast Guard and for their families, but this day and everyday we should all honor those who protect us and our country.  Thank you Coast Guard!
